 A distant roar of traffic.
 Her sister was in the kitchen making coffee.

- When Leila looked next to the bed, she found herself looking at the camera and carrying a golden figure of an animal.
4. Where did Leila find the photo?
- It was on the table next to her bed.
5. What did the photo remind Leila?
- She remembered the only good day in her excavation with Dr. Hafez that took place in Peru.
6. Who was Dr. Hafez?
- He was a great archeologist and he was a leader of the excavation, which was going on in Peru.
7. Where did Samira take Leila?
- She was taking her to the airport as Leila was going to Peru in order to help Dr Hafez in his excavation.

- She showed her sense of humor through two situations:
 When she travelled, she forgot half of her luggage but she could not understand the reason of the bag being light .
 When she asked Leila to ask Dr. Hafez to take care of her as she did not want her to die.

- Because it was the first time for her to go to South America.
10. What was Leila busy doing before travelling to Peru?
Because she was busy baking her luggage all the night before leaving to Peru.  She was worried to forget something as her usual.

- Because they lived on high altitudes, Machu Pichu was 3000 meters, and Cuzco the capital was much higher. They sacrificed their children to please gods. In addition they killed women and servants to help dead kings in the next world.
12. What was amazing about the Incas?
- Although they did not know any kind of writing, they conquered the Chimu and controlled them.
13. What was the Chimu famous for?
- People of Chimu were famous for gold and silver works.
14. Why were Leila and Dr. Hafez going to Peru?
- They went to Peru to excavate the king's tomb from Inca.
15. Why did they look for a king's tomb?
- They looked for a king's tomb to find gold works of Chimu.
16. What did Leila take with her to Peru?
- She took:
(1) A laser-dating machine.
(2) Details of a new technique developed by the department of archaeology in Cairo.
17. What titles that Samira thought of?
- She thought of:
 Secret of the Inca tomb.
 Egyptian archaeologist finds Inca treasure.
18. Why did Leila think that laser-dating machine was secret?
- Because:
1) Not many people knew about it.
2) She wanted to be first to use it.
19. Why did they reach the airport on time?
- Because they set off very early. They have plenty of time to reach the airport.  However the road to the airport was jammed.

- When Samira saw her sister Leila was about to leave, she hugged her and began to cry.

- She would send her a post card or an e-mail.
